Ingredients:
- 1/2 head of cabbage (shredded)
- 2 cups kale (chopped)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Add cabbage, kale, and vegetable broth.
- Bring to a simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
Why it’s good: Cabbage and kale are high in sulfur compounds, which assist in detoxifying the liver. They also provide fiber and antioxidants to support liver function.
